Who We Are

We are low volume, high quality, professional home builders who use the Design/Build approach. This enables us to give each project the attention it deserves. We do not develop land, have stock plans or have the desire to become a large scale operation. We simply want to make an honest living at what we do best.

The owners of Home Conceptions are Phil and Tina Daigle. Phil grew up in the construction business, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and upon discharge, he returned to the trades. He has over 20 years of construction experience and handles the design work and all phases of construction. He also teaches CADD & construction drafting at a local community college. Tina is currently pursuing her doctorate in education. She is an instructor at the community college level and is involved in the business through marketing, customer service, advertising, and work on various job sites.

What We Do

We design and construct new homes, as well as remodeling and addition projects. We are unique to the trade in that we work with the client from the design (conception) phase to the completed home or project.

History

Phil and Tina are originally from upstate New York, where they owned a successful construction business for 13 years. They moved to Turner Maine for the quality of life, as well as the growth of the area. Phil has experience with newer systems, materials and trends, many of which are new to this area. He also has extensive training in CADD (computer aided design & drafting), which enables him to create custom designs for new homes, additions and remodel projects.

Mission

At Home Conceptions our mission is to build the best possible home for our clients. The design/build approach enables us to aspire to this lofty goal. One party handling the design, estimation and construction saves time, money, misunderstandings and conflicts.

Integrity

We pride ourselves on being honest businessmen. We have written contracts for the design and construction of your home. Our design service is free and will be credited against the first draw during construction. Our construction agreement meets all state requirements and fairly protects all parties. We carry more than adequate liability insurance along with workers compensation on our employees. In addition our subcontractor agreement requires any other contractor we hire to show proof of adequate insurances.

We promise to promptly return calls, give honest answers and opinions- not just what you want to hear. We will do our best to ensure quality along with customer satisfaction. Building your home should not be a stressful or unpleasant experience.
